Hello 👋, My name is Shreejwal Dhakal
I was born in Rasuwa, Nepal and grew up in Austin, TX on music videos and unrestricted internet access.
As a kid I was extremely observant and loved going down rabbit holes. I went to UT School of Architecture and immersed myself in the psychological, emotional, and historic importance of the built world and our impact as designers.
I had no intention on designing buildings though, my mind was always elsewhere: photoshoot ideas, watching the latest Margiela show, updating my Letterboxd top 4, designing alternate albums covers and posters, etc.
I'm still that observant kid who lives on the internet. Only now I've fully embraced the philosophy that "Young Architects Can Change the World by Not Building Buildings". There is no box of media that I restrict myself to as I'm always learning.
There’s not a lot of documentation about my hometown but this video was a cool find!
